Forex Strategy "Crossbow"

The Forex Strategy "Crossbow" is based on a whole set of complex indicators, but this does not make it difficult to use. By and large, the strategy can be classified as a trend one, however, due to the not the highest target level, this strategy also shows the result during the flat period.

  • For trading, I recommend choosing a broker with MT4 >>
Some statistics:

From the beginning of January 2016 to the end of July of the same year, for the EUR / USD currency pair, the strategy showed a result in the region of +2200 points (for 4-digit quotes). Stops are not so often, and positive transactions for this period a little more than 50.

  • Currency pair - any, multi-currency strategy.
  • The time interval is H1.

Indicators:

1) TTL indicator. It is displayed in a separate window.

2) CCI ZERO FX520. It is displayed in a separate window and draws red and green circles.

3) Babon Slope. A line similar to a moving average that changes color when a trend changes.

4) DED indicator. Draws circles on a price chart.

5) SupportResistance. Defines important support and resistance levels. Draws brown and blue rectangles.

6) Daily_Open_Line. A horizontal dashed line indicating the opening level of the current day.

To facilitate schedule customization, you can use a ready-made template, which can be downloaded at the end of this article.

Conditions for BUY on Forex Strategy "Crossbow":

1) The TTL indicator is green.

2) The CCI ZERO FX520 indicator has drawn a green circle.

3) The price is above the Babon Slope indicator.

4) At the close of the next candle, the Babon Slope indicator changes its color from red to green.

5) The DED indicator draws a green circle.

6) At the opening of the next candle, a buy transaction is concluded.

IMPORTANT! The entry price must be higher than the opening price of the current trading day. If this is not the case, you should wait until the next candle comes out above this level, and at its close we enter the market.

7) Stop-loss is set under the important support level indicated by the SupportResistance indicator. Not less than 25 points, but not more than 35 points.

8) After passing 30 points in the positive zone, the transaction is transferred to breakeven.

9) If the price is in the negative zone, and the DED indicator draws three orange circles in a row, then the transaction closes immediately at the market price. If the price at that moment is in the positive zone, the transaction will be transferred to breakeven.

10) Take profit is 50 points.

IMPORTANT! The market entry price should be lower than the opening price of the current trading day. If this condition is not met, then you should wait for the moment when the next H1 candle comes out below this level, and already at its close we open an order.

7) A safety stop-loss order is placed behind the important resistance level indicated by the SupportResistance indicator. But this value should not be less than 25 points and not more than 35 points.

8) After the price has passed 30 pips in the positive zone, the transaction is transferred to the breakeven level (that is, the stop loss is rearranged to zero - to the transaction opening price).

9) If the price is in the negative zone, and the DED indicator draws three green circles in a row, then the transaction closes immediately at the current market price. If the price at that moment is in the positive zone, then the transaction is transferred to the breakeven level.
